‘Seeing Myself for the First Time’ is all about self-discovery and self-remembrance. I created this collection during a very challenging time for me, staring in 2018, and I completed the latest piece in 2021. The process of making this art has helped me to rediscover my voice and remember myself. Making it also helped me reconnect with the colors, textures, and forms that bring me joy.
